“I live and hike mostly in the Rockies, and have old(er) knees. When I finally broke down and decided to purchase some trekking poles I settled on these. They're mostly great so far. Collapse easily. Grip size & angle work well. Very slight shock absorption is a nice bonus. Light weight yet strong. Tips hold surfaces well. One pole is hard to re-tighten after I adjust it, requiring an odd sequence of actions I haven't perfected yet, but the other is no problem. So I'm not sure if it's me or the pole. Overall, though, these are doing exactly what I need and doing it well.”
