Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Hikingmaniac from Colorado on Sunday, March 9, 2014Excellent fit, quality construction, and the locking levers lock up tight. I don't know if you can find any better.
Reviewed by Old man of the woods from Southwest Colorado on Thursday, March 6, 2014Strap adjustment is very good and quick. Lever locks are quick and secure. Twist locks on lower section must be periodically retightened. There is considerable and irritating vibration when trekking on firmer surfaces.
Reviewed by Happy Hiker from Beloit, WI on Wednesday, January 22, 2014I am sending these back. Neither the strap nor the handle look like the photo on the Sierra Trading Post web site and on the Leki Khumbu packaging which came with the trekking poles.
The top of the handle is hard plastic rather than soft rubber as described.
The strap is a single piece of hard nylon webbing; however, both the Sierra Trading photo and the Leki Khumbu packaging show straps which look like typical Leki straps, with soft wicking material on the inside which feels good on one's wrists.
It seems to me that Leki has cheapened up the handle and strap to sell these poles through Sierra Trading Post.
Reviewed by Wild Willie from South Dakota on Monday, January 6, 2014These are great poles, but I was unable to get any sale discounts and even had to pay ful shipping on an item that cost over $100. Give me a break! I'm a long time customer who feels screwed!
Reviewed by Savvy Shopper from Santa Fe, New Mexico on Monday, December 30, 2013An excellent and originally expensive set of trekking poles! Great sale price from STP. Sturdy, quickly adjustable lengths, comfortable grips and ergonomic top of the grips.

In my estimation, these trekking pole grips would fit both men's and women's hands, unless you have very small hands/short fingers. There are 2 reviews, by Sue in SC and another female customer in NH, which mention the grips are very comfortable in fit and use. I hope this is helpful.
“Would these be versitile enough to use while snow shoeing? Can I change the baskets to snow baskets?”
Yes they would be versatile enough to use snow shoeing. Leki does make winter basket, however we do not carry them.
No these poles will extent to 57"(145cm).
The anti-shock feature on the Leki Khumbu cannot be turned off.
