LEKI Luau Trekking Poles - Pair (For Women)

It is essential to learn proper technique in order to get the most out of trekking poles. These are more than I had expected for performance.

Nice ultralight hiking poles that have a Hawaiian motif that's a bit out of place here in the Pacific NW. My husband has an older set of Lekis (circa 1990's) and one of his poles outweight both of these.

I bought these poles for a more of a total body work out when I'm walking hills. They are great! I can walk faster with much less stress in the knees and back. I walk hills most every day. I am very pleased!

These sticks have a wonderfully cushy grip, perfectly ergonomic and nice padded straps. That said, I sent them back. I ordered these and the Komperdell antishock sticks, and ended up keeping the other. Comparing them side by side, the Lekis broke down to a few inches shorter so I was hoping to keep them. But in testing them on the carpet, with each pole plant these had a rattle that I just can't imagine hearing and feeling up the trail. Maybe these were a bad set, but I was happy to keep the cheaper ones with no rattle and antishock to boot.
