These poles seem surprisingly solid. I have been consistently impressed by their stability, even when leaning heavily on the poles. The adjustable height is a must have for alpine touring, and since these poles only have two sections instead of three, adjustment is quick and easy. Don't confuse thes... Read More

Definitely good quality. A cut above average and then some. However they are a bit heavier than many others. I've had Leki poles before and actually nothing seems quite as well made in comparison. Bought two pairs one for each of us as a family affair so to speak. Had hoped they would be happier if they were a bit shorter when collapsed down but the quick release upgrade for the hand loops is a plus. The plus for us is they fit our individual bodies a foot difference in height and our individual applications say from gliding to down hill. Absolute great except that weight thing. Which one of us has no issue...of course I'm the 5 footter. :)))

I bought these poles for my sister in law that
Cross country skis, hikes and snow shoes.
She is not high performance but a weekend
worrier and these poles are great for all of the
above because they adjust. Great value. Look good.

The poles are a little heavy, but well-balanced. The lock mechanism is large and clunky looking, but it functions as advertised and doesnt actually get in the way. I like the straps and the quick release function as well.

Just what I wanted--an adjustable pole for backcountry skiing. Very well made, and you can't beat the price!

I'm a professional ski instructor. These are an excellent ski pole for anyone who needs an adjustable pole that is rugged and reliable. Length adjustment is easy and the markings are bold and easily seen. The shortened length makes them easy to pack. The big basket is what is needed in off piste snow. They can be used for everyday skiing, but I prefer my Leki graphite shaft poles for that because
