Bombproof shovel. Spent three straight hours shoveling a pile of snow for a quinzee shelter. Two feed deep snow didn't stop it. Was very impressed. 10 inches isn't ideal for piling, but was surprised with how fast it went. It is ideal for digging which is what it does best.

Sierra Trading post comes through again, can't believe the price on this when you use a coupon, and free shipping, I bought 5 one for each car, and a couple for gifts, I also pack when snowmobiling. Can't be beat.

Good shovel, good price. I wanted a full length, collapsable, heavy-duty shovel...but they tend to be awfully expensive. With this one I got what I wanted for a good price.

Snow Mobiling, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Snow caving. Very Lightweight, yet very sturdy! I wish it had a D-shaped handle, but the T-handle works just fine,

I carry this shovel in my pack while snowmobiling in the backcountry. What makes this such a great shovel is the length of the handle and it's durability. I'm sure it will be in my pack for many years to come. Couldn't beat the price either.
