Lilla P Pima Cotton Turtleneck - Long Sleeve (For Women)

Good, basic cotton turtleneck. Well fitted, not boxy, and longer than most others.

The T neck is too thin & flimsy for winter wear in Pac NW. I was disappointed with quality & fit. I am a size 2, 105 lbs, and the small was close to "snug" before washing. I always fit standard XS or S perfectly. No stretch or shape to fabric, not even soft, but a bit of scratchy feel. I don't think this fabric will hold up very well.

The color of the garments is great. The fit is too small even though I did order a size larger.

This pewter shade is my second Lila P turtleneck, as I bought the shell pink several months ago. Lila P tees and tanks have more of a body hugging fit with a little bit longer length and are perfect for layering under a sweater or vest. Secret for me anyway is to buy one size larger than I normally wear. I'm usually a large but ordered this in extra large. My experience is that even though Lila P shirts and tanks are a high quality soft pima cotton, they shrink on the first washing and that's it. Doesn't seem to shrink at all after that. I have washed my pink turtleneck about six times now. Color is still vibrant and beautiful and fit is still great.

I read the reviews and ordered a size up. I washed and dried them, but they were still too large so didn't get that "fitted" look. Decided just to return them. I think I'm spoiled by the items that receive high ratings which are normally brilliant, high tech, stylish merchandise that STP carries. This was nice, but no "WHAT A BARGAIN" factor.

Excellent shirt! Order one size larger for correct fit. I have several of these shirts I ordered from STP.

The cut and fabric make this a great top. Fabric is not too thin nor too thick, works well for layering or by itself. Sleeve length is perfect for my long arms. Comfortable neck! Very pleased with the color of both rich charcoal gray and icy pink. Very flattering fit on me (I am on the slender side).

Nice and soft. Comfortable. The neck isn't too tight or too loose and looks good all day. I live in turtlenecks all winter (and that's a long time) and I have a lot of experience with both good and bad ones. Lilla P t-necks are a nice quality. I'll get a lot of use out of this t-neck.

I am not convinced this is "pima cotton" as it is strangly similar in texture to the two Lila P elbow length turtlenecks I also bought that were described as "combed cotton". For a turtleneck, this is thin, but good for layering. I normally wear a 12 and after reading reviews indicating Lila P is more fitted and runs a little small, I ordered the extra large. Fit is good (it actually has darts under the chest). I have worn and washed twice now. It has not shrunk up in length (very important) as I like to tuck in my turtlenecks when layering. If you grab it out of the dryer immediately doesn't need ironing, but you might need to touch up a bit with an iron for a more polished look.
