The area the product was applied turned the color of the boots lighter. My boots was quite new and my favorite. It was not dirty. I wanted make my boots water proof. I thought that it would be nice to use water proof spray on the clean surface. I am so upset what this product did to my boots. Now my boots have light spots all over.

This stuff works even better but will smell for a few days. Worth it for the cleaning ability but apply outside and leave your product out as well for several days.
