The lid seems to stay on secure but is difficult to get clean in the cracks of the sliding piece. I don't like the plastic taste/feel on the lid.

Answer The Mini Torch mug has a push on/pull off friction fit with rubber lid.

Answer Push on/pull off but it is on so tight that you almost have to twist it some to get it off, which is good because then the top doesn't just pop off when it falls onto the car floor!

Answer As tough as polycarbonate is, there are two things it does not get along well with: automatic dish-washing machines and prolonged exposure to sunlight. The negative effects are mostly cosmetic however.
