Liquid Solutions Hector Travel Mug - 22 oz.

This was a replacement for a cracked one I received....The USPS decided that a little crack in the first one wasn't good enough...so they decided to just crush the replacement. Needless to say Sierra graciously refunded my purchase. They were out of them. I have others of different style and I would assume this one would have been just as good.

I have always like Liquid solutions cups. They keep your hot stuff really hot. their tops could be a bit tighter but, they still work.

I love that this mug doesn't tip easily and that the base is not slippery. It doesn't really fit in the mug holder in the vehicle, but I am still able to stick it in the top portion enough that it is stable. I holds a good amount of coffee, too, which I love. It is my new favorite travel mug. Got it at a great price, too, so I bought two.

I like Liquid Solution mugs. I just wish they would make the handle a bit more durable, that's why they only get 2 stars. But even without the handle they make great travel mugs.

Overall, I like this mug. However, it doesn't fit in my cup holders & the lid can be finicky to secure.

Great to take in the car or set on the porch outside on a cool morning. Coffee stays hot and the color choices are warm and inviting and a good price as well.

I purchased 5 last year & gave to everyone for Christmas. My husband(who is picky) absolutely loves it for his coffee, so I purchased more this year!

Long lasting, attractive, keeps things hot or cold for a long time!!!! I bought two a year ago and when these came available, I bought four more.

I bought this as a travel/office mug for coffee. I travel 20 minutes to work, then take the mug into the office and finish off the 20 ounces of coffee usually 30-45 minutes after that. When I'm done with the coffee, I'm done with the mug for the day. I really do like the mug just fine overall. It feels good in the hand. The top is a nice design. It pops on and off fairly securely with a silicon gasket which works effectively at preventing dribbles and it has a rotary cover for the sip hole. It's comfortable to sip from too. The wide symmetrical design means it's stable on my desk....However that same symmetrical cylinder design means it won't fit all the way down into my car's cup holder. I have a 2009 Honda civic that has 4 spring loaded fingers which are designed to secure various sizes of cups but they don't allow this wider mug to reach the base of the cup holder so it sort of levitates a half inch or so above the bottom. Mind you it's still fairly secure in there but not completely. The mug can still tilt a bit, though not all the way over. The other minor negative is it doesn't seem to keep my coffee as hot as some other mugs I've had. I say this is minor (for me) because it does keep it pretty hot for the hour or so I need it to but I can tell the coffee has cooled quite a bit by the end of that hour. My last mug, a thermos (with a plastic interior), kept my coffee quite a bit hotter. BTW, this mug is metal on the inside which I really like because it just seems like I can get it cleaner. Also, it is not dishwasher safe but then most quality insulated mugs are not...so no big deal. As for durability, I just don't know yet. I'm betting it will be average and last several years.
