Liquid Solutions Thunder Coffee Press Tumbler - 14 fl.oz.

What are they complaining about? I've used french press coffee makers for 15 years. This one works like most do, only MUCH less expensive. Yes, you get a few more grounds compared to filter drip makers, but it is not as bad if you use coarser ground coffee. There is always a bit of liquid in the bottom. For convenience, this combo maker/cup can't be beat. I bought 2 and keep one in my office. I couldn't give it 5 stars, however, because I expected the lining to be metal instead of plastic.

Works well and keeps coffee good & hot. I'm using it every day.

I leave for work at 0430 every morning and this makes the commute much better than some convience store coffee, not to mention the savings.

This cup doesn't work. The plunger is too short so you leave almost half the liquid in the bottom, which somehow does not flow through the strainer. Absolutely poorly engineered. I wish I could get my money back.

I love the idea of this product. When I've traveled, making coffee has been a nightmare, and this seemed to be the solution. Unfortunately, more leaves or grounds get into the beverage than I would like. Additionally, the press doesn't go to the bottom of the container, leaving a nasty mess for cleaning. Still, it's a great idea. I'd buy for emergencies, but would expect to use it routinely. (I did buy a second one because my boyfriend was so intrigued.)

Bought this for a two week camping trip. It worked beautifully to have a perfect cup of brewed coffee each moirning. Very simple and easy directions.

The fit for the plunger is not tight enough. We found that to tighten it up, pull the rubber off the plunger and flip it over and reinstall it. This will tighten it up enough to stop the coffee from getting through.

I bought a number of these for my friends. At first they didn't seem to work, but if you 'massage' the seal, as well as take it off and clean, it works just fine. In fact, this is my second order.
