LittleLife Cross Country Child Carrier Backpack

When our daughter was 6-8 months I rigged a blow-up travel pillow which kept her head from bouncing around. Now that she is 10 months we don't use the pillow. I have used it for walking around town to climbing up little mountains (less than two hours up). Will use it for snow shoeing this winter. It has been a pleasure to use. One complaint is that the adjustment of the shoulder straps for people of differing height is not secure. The strap slips so I check it each time I use the carrier. No real big deal, but our other carrier (which is a nightmare to use) has a height adjustment that is very secure, but takes some time to adjust (this would be better as I end up carry the baby, while my wife cheers me on). Our daughter has fallen asleep on many steep climbs, so it must be comfortable. For me it is very comfortable. As any good backpack, all the weight can be put on your hips, and hip belt is well padded and easy to adjust. It is very easy to get the baby in and out. I wish the pack had more pockets, but actually can fit a lot in the big back compartment, but I can easily carry all the water and food and baby stuff back there. The net/rain hood is OK, but could be better designed (netting has slits so bugs can enter, position is a bit too forward). But, I am very satisfied with the carrier and also very happy that I got it.

Attractive and comfortable carrier for hikes in the woods! Quality European construction--very lightweight and comfortable for granddaughter.

We heard this pack was only good for small hikes, but we've had our 6-month old in it for hours on end and she doesn't fuss a bit once she's in it. She actually falls asleep most of the time when we go for a long hikes. I think that says something about the pack.

I babysit my 1 year old grandson and use thisas exercise for myself and entertainment for him.It is comfortable as a user and he doesn't get cranky so it must be comfortable for him as well.I use it primarily on our local bike/walking pathso no uneven terrain yet. It has sparked alot ofinterest from our neighbors so we are walking billboards! [...]

I liked the look of the carrier and decided to buy it before my baby is born. This carrier will be mostly used along walking paths beside the beach, local waterways and sometimes in bush tracks. It will keep my hands free to take the dog along with us! It looks great and seems to have a lot of space for baby "stuff". The extra rain/sun cover is great for the ever changing Australian climate.
