Closeouts. Unbelievably lightweight, Lizard's Kross moccasins feature an airy 3DAir Mesh upper with protective rubber coating at the heel and toe and quick-pull lacing that wraps around the collar for a customized, no-slip fit.

I sent them back due to very large size. I was very excited about getting these based on the description - but the sizes are really big. I usually wear a 9.5 womens, and these were closer to a 10.5 womens.

If you like minimalist shoes, this is a great choice for hiking, or for activities where your feet might get wet. Did a 5.5 mi. hike with 1194 ft. elevation gain in these shoes, and they did great on all trail types: dirt, rocky, big boulders, etc., as well as on steep uphill and downhill sections. Very grippy!
The lace design, which wraps around the back of the shoe, makes it possible to adjust these shoes very well. I got a few pebbles in them during the hike, but the shoe pulls off quickly to shake them out. The mesh is great for keeping your feet cool, and would presumably dry quickly, though I didn't go through any water crossings. I hiked very comfortably in these without socks, but they work fine with socks also. My usual shoe size is 7, or 7.5 in athletic shoes, and size 37 was the right size in these Lizards. In that size, each shoe is about 6 ounces.
I also liked the fact that they are made in Italy with Italian-sourced components. They seem very well made.
