Based on my measurements (5' 10'', 170 lbs.), this jacket seems custom-made -- great drape, collar lays flat, neat tuck to the waist, hangs well when buttoned or opened, great color. The material is soft and pliable, but still keeps a good shape. The shape follows the body, but without pinching or flaring. I have one question: why was it necessary to add elbow patches? This jacket is not "tweedy." It is slick and dressy. I can imagine that the manufacturer may have thought that the soft fabric could show premature wear. Who is going to perform hard labor in such a jacket? In spite of the overprotective elbows, this jacket still rates a good night on the town.
