Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by elkabelka from Boulder, CO on Friday, October 4, 2013I ordered this coat for my Mom. It met all the requirements, except for.... wearability! Stiff and feeling a bit like wearing a cardboard outfit. Looked very unattractive. I like Lole clothes, so I am no stranger to this brand. But, this one was a total fiasco.
Reviewed by Mimi from Houston on Thursday, August 15, 2013I was looking for a warm but lightweight coat that came about mid-thigh. I bought this coat and one from Columbia - this one was just too small so I had to return it. It is a very pretty coat and probably warm but not as light weight as I wanted either.
Reviewed by Keeping Warm in Wisconsin from Wisconsin on Monday, April 8, 2013Very good quality, feminine (as far as winter coats go), comfortable & warm = very happy with this coat! Got it after the winter season so I'm looking forward to wearing it next year...
Best price around, thanks Derailed!
Reviewed by Pinkie from Ridgefield CT on Monday, April 1, 2013Figure flattering and a little different from the standard black jacket. Cool detailing too.
Reviewed by poniesnpearls from Florida on Wednesday, March 27, 2013Wore this jacket in cold, windy, rainy, snowy conditions during a 10-day trip. It was nice and warm with a few layers underneath and I stayed dry. At higher wind levels I could feel the chill in my arms, but not my body. Like that the hood is removable and that it zips from both the top and bottom because when sitting, it helps to unzip the bottom a bit to allow leg movement when getting in/out of vehicles. I think this brand runs small. I normally wear 10-12, but bought an XL and was glad I did - the extra room allowed comfortable layering of a long sleeve t-shirt and a light cardigan sweater. I really like that the coat has snaps and not 'velcro' to secure the flap over the zipper - no sticking to scarves. The tall collar is lined with soft fabric that feels very comfortable against the chin. The hood is just a little too big for me - when it's up, you definitely stay warm, but it's difficult to see (I chose to stay warm) around the top and sides. Overall, a good purchase.
