Descriptions of how much coverage swimsuits give are always more helpful when reviewers are specific about their body type so: I am a small pear, 5'6", size 0/2 and overall very fit but my lower cheeks/upper thighs are very wide with some cellulite and sag that is just never ever going away. I need a swim bottom that is cut to actually cover my cheeks. Most suits made over the last five years have been cut closer and closer to a Brazilian back which is exactly the worst thing on my body type, with a boyshort being a close second. So, I bought this suit in a LARGE hoping I could just tie the side ties closer and actually cover my entire bum. NOPE. I swear the manufacturer took the exact same width as a small/medium bottom and proportioned it for a taller woman. So with this suit I have essentially Brazilian back coverage that goes way taller, not wider. The ties are adorable and make my thighs look narrower, and the front coverage is good. But I cannot see doing anything other than sitting in a hot tub, because I'm already too exposed and the instant I move it's going to ride right up. Again I am TINY with a plump-shaped bottom and this suit DOES NOT cover me. If you are an apple or do not have figure flaws below the waist then this bottom should work great on you.
