Lole Cumulus Jacket - Waterproof (For Women)

I usually wear an 8-10 in tops--the "10" to accommodate my bust--so I got size L (10-12) in this jacket because I was afraid the M (8) would be tight in the chest. I was hoping it would run small, as other reviewers have noted, more like an 8-10. The size L is (laid flat, measured across the front) 19.5" across the waist and 21.5" across the bust; an okay size for my 37" bust, even with layering, but a good foot of extra room at my waist (mostly billowing at the back). Too bad! But I suppose nobody expects you to look sexy in your rain gear, so I kept it. I haven't personally worn it in the rain, but my mother (who is more a size 12-14 on top) wore it in the rain in Ecuador and reports that it worked very well. It fits her better than it fits me. I wish it had a drawcord to bring in the waist and/or hem. I also wish there were mesh in the pit vents to keep bugs out. The hood, color (green), and pretty little design on the side are all excellent; I can't wait to go walking in a CA winter downpour and come home dry as toast!

Seems a little small. It still fits, but I was hoping it would be a little roomier. Love the style,

I love Lole and this jacket is what I would expect from them- great quality and stylish. However, I ended up ordering a size larger because this is not a jacket you can layer under and I am a person who layers, particularly in inclement weather. You should order up a size if you have a large bust, as that was the tight part for me.

I love the fit and look of this jacket. It is simple, feminine, classic, and so cute! I have not yet had a chance to wear it in a downpour but it works great in light rain. Nice color too.

My wife thinks I have an illness because I'm on Sierra Trading so much (she doesn't understand it's the best place to shop) so she has a natural dislike to anything purchased here (though she eventually admits its great stuff). So when she instanteously liked this coat (it's much more feminine and stylish than a North Face or Columbia), I knew it was a winner. BTW, its very light.

Perfect rain jacket - it's only a shell, so if it's cold you need a layer or two underneath. It has a nice design on it - I received compliments the first day I wore it. It's lightweight and packs well.

This jacket looks great -- it's got a trendier look than most water resistant jackets yet functional at the same time.

Great around town jacket that's stylish and functional. The description should also say waterproof b/c the tag from the manufacturer says it is -- along with lightweight and breathable. I like that it has all those features without looking too outdoorsy as I have plenty of those types of jackets already. I wanted one that looked good and would keep me dry running errands, hitting the parks with the kids, etc.
