Lole Orion Asymmetrical Sweatshirt - UPF 50+, Full Zip (For Women)

Closeouts. An angled front zip takes center stage in Lole's Orion asymmetrical sweatshirt; the adorable hand pockets, quilted collar lining and thumbhole loops are lovely feminine touches.

I'm not giving this adorable, well made jacket a full five starts for two reasons: First, it does run a little small, I think it's the way it's made the pull of the asymmetrical zipper. Especially if you have a larger chest for your frame I recommend sizing up. Second, after I washed it the first time the quilted collar shrunk a bit. It's probably not noticeable to anyone but the owner, but it does lose a little of it's flair having a slightly smaller collar. I love this brand, the products are always of the highest quality. This is a nice, thick, but light weight jacket.

This is definitely more substantial than a "sweatshirt". The hand-warmer sleeves are adorable and cozy. I have only worn it once, so far, but have received several compliments. The color is a lovely tomato red. It is fully lined, and looks great zipped all the way up or as shown in the photo. Perfect fit, too! I am a Pilates instructor and this is great to wear back and forth to the studio and in between sessions.

This is a nicely styled, trim-fitting dressy sweatshirt. I'm solidly a medium in Lole but I could have gotten a large if I wanted to use it more for winter layering. It comfortably fits over short sleeved shirts but feels a bit awkward in the arms with long sleeves on. I've gotten several compliments already. The red is a bit more muted than the photo but still a lovely color. I'm not usually an asymmetrical zipper kind of girl but this jacket makes it work!

The last reviewer is right about the long sleeves and they are exactly how they look in the photo on the site.I do like the option to have thumb holes and warm my hands but it feels a but excessive. I decided to fold the extended sleeves up and under the which works pretty well unless you have a shirt with thick sleeve cuffs underneath. I like having a jacket with color which is a nice change from the usual gray and black. The weight is very nice. No fleece lining or fancy insulation but a double cotton ( inside and out cotton material are the same but clearly two layers of amterial total). The asymmetric zipper is a stylish twist and looks great when zipped all the way up to chin. I think they should show this view in the photos, as well. It also looks great zipped as shown in the photos. A great deal for the price. I got a North Face wrap ( sharlet) last year with similar features ( asymmetric zipper and lighter weight ) but it is light grey and does not zip up to neck and while the style is good and the collar lays nicely, it is limited by zipper options and the cotton is super thin. It was $65 and is about the weight of a cardigan so I find that I never wear it when I want a jacket because it isn't very warm! I will probably return it and am keeping this one in place of it.

This is a super-cute and flattering jacket, and as a thirty-something I would enjoy wearing it out - except the long long sleeves. When I looked in the mirror, I thought it was a keeper, love the asymmetry, color, cut. But then I saw the only way to wear this is as a mitten-extension. No one is going to wear that to work. It's just like Bella from Twilight, sullen, hiding in her too long of sleeves.
