I was a little concerned with comments on the length (which I like); they are almost Bermuda shorts length. As one reviewer pointed out, they do fit fairly closely and do flair out a bit at the bottom of the legs. Weird, yes, but it doesn't bother me at all, as these are so comfortable and fit so well. They sit below the waist, but this is how they are designed. I bought a size 8, which is usually my size, and it was the right decision.

The longish but not baggy shorts keep a trim look that works well both for active days and casual around-town stuff. I'm not ready to wear shorts in my office, but if that is your dress code then these are professional enough.

Reviewed by Horsefarmgirl from VA on Saturday, August 04, 2012These shorts are a hassle getting on and off as there are 4 buttons to fasten-2 outside, 2 inside. Seems excessive. The fabric is kind of rough and not very breathable, I have other nylon shorts that are much softer. I will be hemming them up since the 11" inseam(size 2) feels too long and they flare at the bottom which looks funny. Otherwise they are true to size/flattering fit and i like the color(raisin), but I wouldn't buy them again.
