This is a lovely, light, bright raincoat; I bought it for a trip. I wear a size 14 so I got an XL, hoping it would go over a sweater, but it won't, so that's a disappointment, but I'm keeping it anyway because it is such a nice coat. Great color too. I'll wear it with a very thin sweater I guess.

I worked in Ireland where it rains nearly everyday. I had to dress well and needed an appropriate jacket that would keep me dry but also fit the business dress I needed. This jacket fits the bill perfectly. It is an effective rain jacket and quite packable for travel. I got caught in down-pours a few times on weekend trips in London and I stayed dry every time. It is a rain jacket at its base so unless it's raining or you expect it to rain I would choose a different jacket for warmth. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wants to stay dry in the rain, but also wants the jacket to be stylish and comfortable.

I have been looking for a longer gortex type jacket for some time now. I wanted something that would be casual enough for hiking but also stylish enough to use for travel. This jacket fills the bill! I usually wear a large but got a XL so I can layer sweaters under the jacket if needed.

I ordered this jacket in the XL. (I am a 16) I would say this garment is a "trim" fit rather than "classic". It does run small through the arms and chest. No room to wear anything heavy underneath. The sleeves are plenty long. The length of the jacket comes just above my knees - I am 5'8'. The raspberry color is very nice - looks like sherbet. The fabric is a bit rubbery and may not breathe well.

*The fit is nice - I'm glad I got the large, as I can wear a thick fleece underneath and still have good movement. It's longer than I expected, almost knee length on me. *The material should be windproof - I did my usual "blow test" (trying to blow through the fabric) and no air went through. This is of course at the expense of breathability, but should be ok for my purposes, backpacking Europe. *The hood fits well, unlike other jackets I've tried. *Raspberry colour is gorgeous. I'm going to rely on this jacket to add some pop to my backpacking wardrobe(which is almost entirely black!) *Criticisms: mesh pockets and drawstrings are a little flimsy. A great choice for urban rainwear.

Took the jacket to New Mexico in November. It snowed. The jacket was perfect for layering over my t-shirts and fleece pullovers to stay dry while browsing Taos and Santa Fe; is thin, so can fold up to fit into good-sized purse.

I like this raincoat a lot -- it's both functional and stylish, and practically eliminates the need for an umbrella. it's not breathable the way a gore-tex jacket would be, so don't recommend for anything besides walking or moderate physical activity. (I got really sweaty riding my bike in this.) but it's great for a cold rainy wet windy day.

I bought the bright rose, because colors with a little blue in them flatter my pale skin. (The lime would be great on a tan.) Yesterday, wearing my new raincoat, I slid in wet leaves and fell face-down a steep driveway. To my pleasant surprise, nothing tore and the ground-in mud scrubbed out with a washcloth and a little hand soap. Good as new! I need real protection from Oregon's heavy rain, but hate looking like a water buffalo in stiff rubberized outerwear. This coat is fun and durable.
