    I was surprised at how nice these pants look on. I was expecting a sort of fleece sweat pant, but they're actually cut well, and I might even wear them to work sometime. On a day when it's ok to be casual, that is. They also have some nice detailing.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I got these in the mail yesterday, took them out of the box, tried them on, put them back in the box, and took them straight back to the post office. Maybe if I wanted to join some kind of sweatpant wearing ABBA look alike group I would keep them, but otherwise, they were 4-5 inches too loose at the waist, the legs were too long, and the hips were ridiculously wide. I usually wear a small. I'm 5'5" and and slim 125lbs. These would be good for a curvy woman maybe, but I don't think I would feel comfortable in them even then. The fit seems to just make curves more obvious.

    I love Lole, but not these pants. The fit is larger than most Lole, without their classic flattering (butt hugging)cut. The fabric is a little heavy or stiff for fleece, but it is still comfortable and decidedly warm. Darker trim outlining hip pockets is not my favorite. I will wear these to snuggle around the house this winter...and will be much cozier than in cotton sweats.

    I wanted fleece pants without the elastic at ankles. These pants are fine - a jean like look- below waistline fit - and lovely soft fleece. If you have 29" fit, you will have to hem these.
