I love this coat. It is warm, sturdy, trim and comfortable. While everyone is grumbling about winter continuing, I'm just glad that I get to wear my coat more. I never want to take it off. I have taken two naps in the coat. I ordered a M and L. I normally wear M tops, but I went with the L because the coat is more trim through the hips and thighs. (I am a size 12 in pants.) It is a tiny bit roomy in the chest, but this will allow me to wear a bulkier sweater underneath. The zippers and snaps are sturdy. The material is repellent; I teach art and have already gotten tempera paint and paper mache paste on the coat and both of these things scraped right off when they dried. I am so glad I bought this coat!

This coat was an exceptional bargain with a deal flyer email coupon. It's just what I was looking for, and I couldn't be more pleased. I wanted a thigh length, warm, water-resistant coat--something with technical features, but stylish enough to wear as my primary winter coat around town. The gray print looks great--as neutral as basic black, but more stylish. The coat seems very warm (although I'll have to wait until next winter to know for sure). The fit is trim, so you might consider going up one size. I wear size 10 clothing, and ordered a Large (size 12) coat. It's not too snug, and in fact looks great for city wear. But if you want a looser fit for sports activities, have a pear-shaped figure (the fit is looser in the shoulders than the mid-section), or plan to wear several layers underneath, you might want to go up two sizes from your clothing size--and at that point, the arms might be too long. This purchase is precisely the reason I'm an avid Sierra Trading Post shopper.
