Not for Fly Tying

Not like razor scissors, Tips not that sharp
Best Uses:
General home scissors, Tackle box
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Was hoping they would be like a pair of Dr. Slick razor scissors but not even close. Have to get them very tight to get a good cutting edgfe and tips are thick and kind of clunky. Would be pretty good for general household use.
