Lots of gear for a small price. Might not meet the standards of a professional, but will do quite well for novice to average, even avid fly caster.Could be adapted for other fresh water fishing methods.

"The only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize." This pack has it all and then some. Itching to get out and field test it, but backyard testing proved it should be fine. I got it 'cuz I get too hot in my old vest and wanted something with a smaller footprint that could carry my gear without weighing me down nor get in the way. The foldout table looks good. Zingers galore. The potential downside is that it might be able to carry TOO much stuff, so runs the fine line between "convenient" and "bulky". Pretty sure I'm gonna love it, though. And it's super convenient as a small "grab & go" bag. Oh, the included fly box is kind'a weak, but slap some velcro on the box you already have, stick it in this pack and you'll be fine. I guess you can use the included box for your small spincast lures if you're so inclined. And that water bottle is detachable--but I'll bet the holder could keep a beer can upright!

Provides a great baseline of gear for beginning fly fishing. Has held up to abuse well so far.
