    Pros:
    Compact, Lightweight
    Cons:
No on off switch, Uncommon batteries
    Best Uses:
    Fluorescing minerals
    Describe Yourself:
    Casual/ Recreational
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I purchased it to fluoresce mineral specimens. It seems sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, the first one had one of the three LEDs not working. However, it flashlight was quickly replaced with one that worked just fine. It does not have an on off, at least not one that I could find. Rather, turns on and off by tightening and loosening the battery compartment so as to make or break the circuit connection. The batteries need to be inserted in the opposite direction than one would think. So, the first time I put them in, the light would not go on. However, once I reversed direction, it work properly. Overall a good product for a low price.

What this lights intention is to use on fishing lures,to 'light-them-up'..will make faded glow-in-the-dark items glow bright once again...however at night,it can bring small particles in the ether, mineral and otherwise, give you a show of what we normally don"t realize is all around us...

Buy this if you love the way the epoxy nymph look but hate epoxy. Just put a dab of UV knot sense on the back and it takes 10 sec to cure with this lamp. The possiblities are endless!
