    These are not bulky like many hiking socks; so they work with casual winter shoes and boots. The ones I have are a great dark neutral color to go with everything. I haven't had them long, but they seem durable. And they're warm!

    I've only had these socks a few weeks, however they appear to be well made and great for the price. These are as described, a light hiking sock. Good for recreational and daily use. I got the denim color to wear with jeans. Color is a good match for washed jeans.

    I loved the Lorpen medium weight Merino wool socks of same color, however; despite similar non-slipping or bunching, the light weight wool is not as durable and has started to fray and wear out quickly within a few days use of casual use. I am disappointed after having success with medium weight merino wool socks that lasted 2+ years. Have experienced failures with nylon blend and now light weight merino blend.
