Got these as ski socks for my daughter...now if I can keep her from using them as part of her PJ's I'll be set. Seem to be decent weight for a light sock, should do well to keep her piggies warm this winter.

these are the first socks I got specifically for skiing and I may have fallen in love with them enough to wear them several days straight. No stink (thanks, merino!), comfy shin pad, wash great so far.

Really like the weight and quality. Just hoping the tourniquet type top of sock will stretch over time. Great price!

I wasn't really sure what would make a sock specifically a "ski" sock when I bought these, but I took a chance. I now know that they are thicker along the front edge of my shin to give added cushioning for the boot. I will also wear these under slacks at work. Some knee socks barely make it up to my knee, but these have plenty of length and feel snug, but not too tight.
