Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mtnmick from Western Colorado on Wednesday, December 16, 2015These are great socks! The merino wool blend is comfortable and not itchy. They are very tall-over the calf but not quite to the knee and they did not slip all day. Very thick cushioning. These coupled with my Sorel 1964 Pac boots actually felt more like I was wearing slippers, when we were actually hiking and playing in knee deep snow in 18 degree weather up on the Grand Mesa. It's handy that these can be washed and dried in the machines at home. I am going to get more!

Reviewed by Florence Gans from Raleigh, NC on Sunday, November 24, 2013These socks are really great - warm and just about to my knees. I was a little agitated with the packaging. For each sock they had 2 places where a nest of thread attached the sock to the cardboard. It was close to impossible to get the socks off without cutting a hole in them. The socks are a 5 star. The packaging is a 2 star.
