Perhaps it's the antibacterial treatment, or some such thing, but when the box arrived from STP, I thought someone with strong cologne had done the packing. Then, when I opened these socks, the scent was worse. Just like those pine tree hangers sold at car washes that are supposed to deodorize your car but only really add another layer of smell, and not a better one. So, I haven't washed these yet and hope when I do the smell will be minimized, or eliminated. But be warned, they're pre-oderized.

I just returned from Spain and Portugal where I had to walk everyday in 90+ degree heat, up steep cobble streets and hills. In two and a half weeks, I did not even think of my feet. Five miles a day and these socks took me through it like I was walking barefoot on carpeting. Wash them in a sink, hang and dry in 8-10 hours. Try that with cotton.

Best sock at odor control.Quality as good or better as any other brand.

great product. pefect for use alone or as wicking liner sock. wish i would have bought more.
