I bought these for my 4yr old. Winter has come early and it's been really cold. And there's been no whining about cold feet when we're skating or skiing. Miracle socks!

I bought these for my 17 month old son who wears a size 8 in Toddler shoes. They are a bit big for his foot, but they still fit fine and by the middle of the winter I figure they will be perfect. They are very thick and warm. I live in a very cold climate and I feel quite confident that these will keep his feet warm outdoors. They are very tall! "Over-the-calf" is an under statement. These come up to the middle of my son's thighs! However he doesn't seem to mind so I pull them all the way up and they double as an under layer for his legs too!

    • Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Soft, Warm

I laughed when these arrived because they are GIGANTIC compared to what I expected. Ordered for my 3 year old, I think they would more accurately fit a 10 year old. HOWEVER, I am keeping them because I just happen to have boots that are a size too big for him and they will work for extra cold days. They are VERY thick and warm and actually fit with those particular boots (not with any other shoes though), and they go above his knees but they are cozy and will be great for very cold play outside snow days.
    • Best Uses: Cold weather
    • Cons: Poor Fit
    • Pros: Warm
    • Sizing: Feels too large

These are really good quality; thick and warm, and nice design and colors. I do think they might be a bit scratchy and uncomfortable for my son; the wool did not feel super soft.
