3.0 out of 5 stars. Thicker than the same product in a local ski shopVerified Buyer Reviewed by SRI Brian from Buffalo on Tuesday, December 23, 2014I saw this product in my local ski shop, then ordered this from Sierra Trading Post. I was a bit disappointed because the socks that I received seemed significantly thicker than the same socks in the ski shop.

5.0 out of 5 stars. 10 hour tour and still comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Colin from oregon on Friday, December 19, 2014I used these to tour last weekend, toured and skied 10 hour days in temps from 10-25 degrees. My feet were comfortable and warm the entire time and the slightly thicker than standard (for its weight) shin padding was great! Shin padding is more like what one finds on a mid weight sock rather than a lightweight sock like these. Foot padding is "lightweight," not super thin no padding like a race sock, but not bulky at all. Wool is not itchy at all. I don't have stinky feet so can't comment on odor issues other than to say I didn't have a problem. Great value for a high quality ski sock. Very tall on the leg too which I like.
