“Due to the high wool content, these feel a little rough when you take them out of the drawer and first put them on (especially compared to most socks that have a much higher synthetic content). That is soon forgotten. They have good support, don't sag and stay snug. On technical terrain, I notice the shortcomings of my boots but not these socks (they are actually better without a liner). We'll see how they do in the winter, but thus far they have been warm on cool mornings and stay cool when the sun gets hot and the trail starts to bake. To me, socks are like an airplane flight or a taxi ride. If there's nothing to complain about, then they've done an excellent job. Thats the case here since I forget which socks I have worn until I take my boots off at the end of the day.”
