I am an aggressive downhill skier. I prefer a very thin downhill ski sock and this fits just right. I find that a thick sock just takes up too much space in my boots and actually causes my feet to get cold because it cuts off circulation. A thin sock that wicks moisture is what I look for and these perform exactly that way.

Comphy & soft on the skin for a SuperLight Weight sock with no Cushioning. Got 2 pair in Iron. Will be my summer work boot sock or winter liner sock under any number (#2312Y, #2312X, #4352C, #4352H, #4352M) of Lorpen HeavyWeights on those extra bitterly frigid days. Lycra(R) is holding up well just likie in the Lorpen heavier weights. I've ordered 3 more pair in Black.

3 out of 3 pair or all 6 socks ordered, in Black, had the same exact hole, in the same exact spot, on the top\front ankle area. It looked like the machine just left out a few 1 inch long rows of stitching for a short run of socks. No Worries though, S-T-P service cordially exchanged the 3 (worse than 2nds) pair for 1 like pair (without holes) & two different better\heavier styles, even-up with no-cost shipping to & fro. I had previously gotten this same style in Iron & feel they'll be fine for work in the summer or, even though not quite as thin as the Slim Jim liner, I may find myself using them as liners in winter too. Hence the reason I tried to get 3 more pair. These are very light weight & are better at temp reg & wicking than they are warm & even though they might run just a tad large. Not so much so as to make them too large. The Lycra(R) keeps them up, snug & without bunching. No cushioning to speak of but there are slight weave pattern changes in spots & they feel fine in a boot. And while they're SuperLight weight, they still feel substabtial enough to hold up for a while. I prefer these to the similar weight Schoeller® Polycolon(#3502A) style & would buy these before them again, because they feel better against my skin.

Perfect ski socks. I used to use silk in my old ski boots. New ones are larger. This sock is what I needed.
