Being able to find socks at all in my size in Minnesota was always next to impossible. These socks fit very well. I wore them constantly and they kept their shape for many washings. It was O.K. to wear them with boots all the time outside and going around the town. Never tried the brand Lorpen before and now I look for Lorpen and consider the brand very seriously when shopping and looking at socks. Having strong, durable, socks is very important to make sure that blisters don't happen. Thickness and cushioning was excellent. I did not have to think or consider that there was something wrong with the sock at all. I could just put them on and go excercise/walk.

They are very long, I ended up just cutting off the tops a few inches. So far so good, no raveling an very comfortable now. Medium weight with good cushion underneath.
