No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This sweater is serviceable, and comfortable. But, it does not have the classy look that is normally associated with silk content. There are cotton/acrylic blend sweaters that look more refined and elegant than this sweater, so I find it difficult to assign more than 2 stars. It is a "just OK" sweater at a "better than OK" price.
