I normally wear a size 6-8 depending upon the brand, but since this skirt was like a pencil skirt, I opted for the size 8. I loved the quality, fit, and richness of the fabric so much that I reordered the same skirt in brown and black. Am still contemplating if I should get the navy, as well. A different review stated that the wide-band at the top was not flattering, but it definitely adds style and appeal to me, especially paired with a tailored dress shirt or turtleneck. I teach school and these skirts are the ideal for working women that want to feel comfortable, yet dress professionally. I often add a cardigan to complete my ensemble. This skirt can be dressed up or down and I know will last a very long time.

I didn't notice it when I ordered, or I wouldn't have gotten it. Very nice fabric and well-made, like all Louben products, but also like Louben products, way off on the sizing. The 4 is more like an 8.
