Just got this bat for my 11 year old son from Sierra Trading Post as a backup / practice / cold weather bat. It DOES have the 1.15 BPF stamp. Answer in the Q&A from 2012 is wrong.

Got this for my Sophomore (16 Year Old) daughter to add to her bat collection (I coach their 16U travel team). My daughter is slighter in height and stature, but has a fairly powerful swing. The bat is well constructed, with a slightly end loaded feel to it (more end loaded than her previous Miken 31/21). The bat has a longer swing because of the end weighting, so those requiring a shorter/quicker swing should look elsewhere (you will need quick hands to get the most from this bat). However, if you want pop, this bat produces with a fairly large sweet spot. The bat makes a different sound than a traditional composite bat - more like a wood bat hit than the composite pop. That is perfectly normal (though some say it sounds like the bat is cracked). The sound does not hinder the bat in any way and is from the nature of the construction. Overall, this will get a lot of use and is a great value from Sierra Trading Post.

Got it for my granddaughter. One out of four grandchildren that is very serious about her softball playing. Not only is she intense while playing, she's good too. Best on her team, and also the fastest. We are thinking college scholarship!
Oh ya, she loves the glove. And really needed a new one.
