Lowa AL-X 54 Camo Multi- Sport Shoes - Lo (For Women)

I liked the gold and black color and thought that I could fix the rather thin soles by substituting my orthotics for the way too thin insoles. Hard to keep the laces tied, too.

Good shoes but not appealing to look at. They had sparkles on them.

Size posted on STP web is not correct. Lowa shoe size european 39 equates to size 7/7 1/2. I have several size 7 Lowa shoes that fit great so that's what I ordered. What arrived was size 6 1/2 or european size 38.[...]. STP should really post the european shoe size to clear up any confusion.

The reviews were a bit confusing as some said they were true to size, others said they ran a half size too large OR too small. I wish STP would add a place where reviewers must select which style and size they ordered to make more sense of the data. I normally wear a 6.5 med, but since there were no 6.5's, I ordered a 7 in both the asphalt gray camo and the zebra looking shoe. The zebra shoe runs larger and comes in a different style box then the gray camo. The zebra one seems a half size larger, even though they are both 7's. The gray camo appears to run true to size (I'm disappointed because if it ran a half size small, it would fit). They are cute, although I can see the stiff tongue one person mentioned could be a problem where it hits the ankle if it doesn't soften up. They are not cushioned like top end running shoes, but that's not what they are. They seem comfortable ... may try a thicker sock to see if I can keep the smaller fitting pair.

Love these shoes. They are very comfortable with a medium weight sock. I have worn them all day shopping as well as on trekking weekends away. Great price for a great shoe.

It's the perfect all around shoe!

I have a very narrow foot, and these fit great. It's hard to find shoes that are narrow in the toe box. A wide foot would have trouble with these, though. They fit great, they're cute, and they look like the traction would be good. However, there is simply not enough cushioning in these for my tastes. It felt like I was walking barefoot on concrete. Hence, three stars.

came up too high and rubbed ankle; tongue binding rubbed also, stiff and uncomfortable, not enough support, toe felt as if it was falling off the end, like the cushioning stopped; did not figure that out. Sent them back..
