A really great shoe I love it. If they had more support in the soles they would be perfect. In the weeks I,ve had them I,ve hiked and climbed everyday with them. Bagged a Eastern Sierra peak and climbed some 5.10 routes along with some v2 boulders in them, so far these boots rock!

Very nice looking boot but runs small...Very light weight, can feel rocks
thru the sole....Not for back country hiking......Perfect for city hiking....

The shoes are light and water proof. I put a better insole to help my low arch. The soles are a little thin for rocky ground but these shoes were made for smoother trails.

I know it says a lightweight boot, but these are about a third of my normal boots. I have had little trail time with these boots so I do not know how they will hold up over the long run. Quality seems very good and they took almost no break in.

If you don't need or like the stability of a regular hiker, these are a better option for day hikes than trail runners, approach shoes, low cut hikers, plus they weigh about the same as these other options. I've been walking around town in them and the hot spot at my wide 3E forefoot has disappeared leaving the boots extremely comfortable but a little warm with the gore-tex liner. I ordered the size 11 1/2 along with a pair of Asolo Synchros and these registered at 45 in Euro sizing, while the Asolo's were 46. I likely would have gone up a half size if I tried them on before buying, but the boots are very comfortable with thin, nylon running socks. All in all, this is about the most versatile, walker, traveler, hiker, go-to boot out there and they look good with jeans too.
