“I purchased several different brands of trail running shoes from Sierra Trading Post, to compare them. I am a female with a wide size 9 to 9-1/2 foot, and tried the Lowe Arete's (L/A) because several reviews said these shoes ran wide. When I tried the L/A shoes on, I thought they were OK, however compared to the Salamon XA Comp 3 Gore-Tex Trail Running Shoe, the L/A's pale in comparison.”
