I'm an "Average" woman. I wear it when I run errands, go walking, shopping..... I like wearing shoes that are abit different. These are and very comfrotable. They are holding up well and I'm fussy about my shoes

I liked this shoe right out of the box, but... It was a tad too long and just didn't feel right overall. I returned it. My usual shoe size is 6 1/2 wide but often a 7 will work. This just wasn't one of those times.

I wear these on daily (5mile) trail walks with my dog. I have high arches, love the support and also like the snugness around the ankle as the trails have rocky areas. These shoes might not fit every foot, but they're perfect for mine.

Lowa is a new line for me - it's wonderful. I really like the style and quality - the fit is great and the shoe very comfortable.

My best pair of hiking boots are made by Lowa. So I thought I'd give these a try. They did not disappoint me. I got these shoes for everyday walking and running around. For that, these shoes are nice. I needed something for the winter. The mesh on these shoes is thicker and will work nicely for that. However for summer, I think they will be too hot. I have bunions. None of the seams in the shoes bother them. The only reason I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars is because of their appearance. I got the only color left in my size..gray with red stitching. It is ugly. The zigzag stitching across the top doesn't help their appearance. But for the price, I'll deal with it since they fit so well.

The price was excellent (bargain bin / barn burner) and I wanted these shoes to fit, but they were just too tight and short. I'd estimate 1/2 size too small, which may also play into being too narrow, but overall they just weren't comfortable.

The shoe is very comfortable but not very attractive due to the high toe box. Width wise the toe box is perfect.

I was disapointed with the comfort of this shoe. The ankle is very high and very stiff. Nor does it seem that there is much cushion in the sole. I bought theses for running on a treadmill, but I wish I had gone with Avia or Saucony.

I purchased several different brands of trail running shoes from Sierra Trading Post, to compare them. I am a female with a wide size 9 to 9-1/2 foot, and tried the Lowe Arete's (L/A) because several reviews said these shoes ran wide. When I tried the L/A shoes on, I thought they were OK, however compared to the Salamon XA Comp 3 Gore-Tex Trail Running Shoe, the L/A's pale in comparison.
