Reviewed by Lauren from Wisconsin on Monday, January 11, 2016I love these boots. I've owned them for almost 1 year exactly and they are holding up wonderfully, fit very well and keep my feet warm and dry. For me personally, they ran about a half size smaller than my typical shoes, still leaving plenty of room for warm socks. I typically wear a 7.5 and I bought these in a 7.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by RAP54 from Springfield, Ma on Tuesday, March 10, 2015Love the fact that this boot has a large enough toe box to accommodate my bunions & toes! Not clumsy at all and very stylish looking and warm. I usually wear a size 81/2 to a 9 depending on the type of shoe, so after reading the reviews that indicated that the shoe runs a bit big, I ordered the 81/2 and I'm very satisfied.

Reviewed by Maria from New York on Thursday, February 19, 2015Great winter hiking shoes. Can be used just for walking in the city in cold weather, and stay warm. Also, even on the most slippery surface, ice, black ice, they don't skid. Tried them during freezing cold winter hike to Mt. Algonquin- have no complains! Shoes stayed warm even in -20F and very comfortable for a full day hike.
Answer hi, I forgot to add in my review that I ordered a size 8 medium so having a foot that is in between a size 8 and 8 1/2 I'd say they run 1/2 big. (Plus I'm wearing a midweight sock with them.) I like me boots snug,I don't like my foot moving around in the boot. These have room for my toes and aren't too big in the heel,a problem I always have. I found the literature sent with the boots confusing but online, the description of the boot and importantly, the "specs" makes no mention of leather but call the representatives to make sure
