Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Four days after receiving these boots I took them out on a 17 mile climb in the Olympic Mountains through I little bit of everything including wading through a creek (wore gaiters over the boots and my feet stayed nice and dry), rugged trail, bushwhacking, steep snow and some rock scrambling - the boots get an A+ on all. No blisters or sore spots.
