Closeouts. Dragonfly trail shoes from Lowa have an extended comfort range that invites you to take your walking routine off the beaten path and explore local dirt trails. A Gore-Tex® XCR® waterproof breathable membrane keeps feet dry and blister-free.
They were a bit stiff at first but now they are a few weeks old and very comfortable. I wear them for light hiking and general Mom duties with all day comfort. They DO run large, so as recommended take this into account when ordering. I usually wear a 9 1/2, but my 9 is plenty long.

Pros:
Dries Quickly, Great Traction
Cons:
Not flexible, Poor Cushioning
Best Uses:
Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Walker/Hiker
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
These shoes run 1/2 size larger. They are great as far as being waterproof but are stiff with no cushioning on the sole. I'll wear them to walk my dog when it's rainy or snowing but no other time.

Lowa needs to take a page from running shoe manufacturers. These shoes have all the things I didn't like about stiff leather hikers and put them into a sneaker-like hiker. They are stiff and hard and have a narrow toe box. Because the sole is hard, they don't grip well on wet pavement or icy sidewalks. They're fine for every day where, in and out of the house/car, mud puddles.
