5.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Judy from Delaware on Tuesday, August 2, 2016I am very pleased with these boots. They fit well and are very comfortable. I have not tried them out yet. I frequently hike where I have to ford streams and also where the trail is a stream and my experience with Goretex is very positive. The design looks good for keeping out water also. My previous boots slipped easily on wet rocks. I am hoping that these grip better.

1.0 out of 5 stars. wet feet!Reviewed by Marissa from Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 4, 2016These boots fit well and broke in easily. I loved them until I wore them in a wet forest after a rain. It wasn't even raining during the hike yet my feet, insoles, and boot walls were soaked. Supposedly these boots are Gore-Tex, I think it is a sham.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alli-MT from Montana on Wednesday, April 20, 2016I have become a Lowa enthusiast. These boots fit true to size, and felt great from the very first wearing. Nice and light, and great styling. I plan on testing their waterproof-ness on a muddy Spring hike soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not quite right for my feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Maralee from Idaho on Tuesday, March 22, 2016I ordered several pair of hiking boots. Trying to find the right one with no tight spots or blisters after a day of wear. I had not worn Lowa's before and was very hopeful because Lowa is my husband's faorite. Just didn't work for my wider foot

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent hiking bootReviewed by Hannah2 from Evergreen, CO on Sunday, March 13, 2016I walk three to five miles a day, mostly on easy trails with dogs. I occasionally will tackle rougher terrain for longer distances. I live in the Rocky Mountains, so the trails are...rocky. This time of year they can be muddy, too. The other reviews want a softer bottom boot, but I want firm footing and protection for my feet, especially the bottoms. I have difficult feet - widened by surgery, need support. And I'm a size 10.5, so hiking boots can look really bulky on me. I'm back for my second pair of these boots. After a month of wear, I find them great on melty trails, supportive for my poor feet, accurately sized at 10.5, a great discount, and they look streamlined compared to my classic Vasques. They are lighter weight, too.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Could be great but to big and bulkyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WI on Saturday, December 12, 2015Bought a half size larger to accommodate thicker socks... guess those days are gone, these shoes were huge! They were also very bulky. I did not want to order my normal size because I thought they would still be big and bulky.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable but not flexibleReviewed by Georgia Jude from North Georgia Mountains on Saturday, October 31, 2015I wear an 8.5 B and these fit my foot just right. I wear an orthotic and it fits in just fine. The soles do not have much flex and I find that the flat foot slaps the ground while offering a support. The insole is harder than any other insole I have ever had in a boot.
