Lowa Jannu Hiking Boots (For Women)

Finally, boots that fit and don't squish my toes. I had a really bad ankle injury last year and had to find boots that didn't rub my ankles sore and still supported them. A friend suggested this brand and they are totally worth it. Sierras price couldn't be beat! Just wish they were colorful, All the crazy fun looking boots were so uncomfortable. The must have been made for posing, not hiking!

Can be resoled, yet fabric on heel has issues in some boots.

Walk 2 miles plus daily, these boots are very comforable from the start, extremely wll made. Little high in the heel gives a feeling of the foot going forward a bit but not enough to be uncomfortable. I would buy again.

We do a lot of rock scrambling in Las Vegas and these provide good traction and support as well as breathing to keep cool.As mentioned NOT MADE IN CHINA.

Wonderful boots, no need to break in. They fit like a glove. My first trip out was a on 12 mile backpacking trip and they've been the most comfortable pair of boots I've owned. The only downside is they don't have the goretex lining to make them waterproof.

These were really, really nice boots and I am so disappointed I couldn't keep them. The right boot squashed my little toe (the left was fine) and both of my inside ankle bones had deep grooves from the tongue edge digging into my skin after wearing around the house for 10 minutes. Maybe thick socks would have helped that, but the toe box was too narrow for me to accomodate another layer. I do have wide feet across the toes & narrow ankles. I had read the toe box in these are roomy, but not enough for me. I don't usually have to buy wide sizes, I can try on different styles and brands and find a shoe that fits. I was impressed enough with the look and quality of these, that I re-ordered another style by Lowa to try.
