5.0 out of 5 stars. Lowa not made in China!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Inga the Shopper from AZ on Wednesday, June 17, 2015These Lowa boots are so well made and comfortable there is no break-in time. Expect them to last a long, long time. They are usually made in Slovakia or Italy so they are fine quality, but every now and then Lowa sneaks one in from China. Don't know about their quality or comfort because I won't order them??

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Eastern Oregon on Tuesday, April 7, 2015I bought these boots because I had previously owned a pair of Lowa Renegades and was impressed with the comfort and quality from the very first day I wore them. These Lowa Khumbu II boots are quite a bit stiff and take time getting used to them. They are true to size. The button on the tongue is great for keeping the tension where you want it. If you're not used to this tall of a boot, you will feel clunky. Nice dip in the back for going down steep hills. I give them 4 stars because of how stiff they are (I've been wearing them for 2 weeks straight out in steep hill country), and I don't feel you should have to "break in" a good pair of boots. That will keep me from ordering this particular style again.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice but TOO heavyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Claudia from Pittsburgh on Friday, February 13, 2015I prefer a lighter shoe/boot. These fit well and felt good otherwise. Very good support.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mag from Monterey, California on Monday, January 19, 2015I wear an 8.5 and sized down to an 8, as suggested by others. They fit great and have not required breaking in on the short hikes I"ve taken.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Diego, CA Durango, CO on Tuesday, January 6, 2015Bought these for my son's girlfriend as a mid weight hiker. She loves them. Like all Lowa's, they're well made, light and really sturdy.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boot - could be a great bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by ZANMEISTER from Wisconsin on Monday, December 29, 2014Runs about 1/2 size large (found this on all Lowa boots). Great boot - but the insole could be higher quality. I'm going to replace it with a gel/athletic insert which will be great. It's not a huge cost so I do not know why more boots do not come with higher quality inserts.
