These boots were excellent quality and nice looking for a hiking boot. I'm a short lady and they were a little high for me and touched me in the shin more than I like. I keep ordering heavy hiking boots when I need a light hiker. The soles were stiffer than I wanted and I couldn't really bend my feet as I walk. They would be great for the more serious hikers who carry a load. I ordered my normal size and they were very roomy allowing for a heavy sock. I returned the shoes for Merrells which is what I normally wear. STP is so easy to work with on returns I'm not afraid to try something new because if they don't work out I can send them back with no hassle.

I have narrow foot and this boot was too narrow for me in the toe area. The boot itself was too long (about half size to whole size too long) but it was very narrow in the toe area. This design makes no sense.
According to our size and fit models it has been determined that this shoe is true to size. We would recommend that you order the size you normally wear. For more information you can visit our Shoe Sizing Guide at this link.|http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/shoe-fit-guide/
