“Just got these so can't really make any comments as to long-term performance, but they are very comfortable with virtually no break-in time. Ankle and arch support seem less than most hiking boots -- these feel almost more like high sneakers -- therefore they are best suited to day hikes and shorter distances on easy to moderate terrain rather than serious backpacking or difficult terrain. For my needs -- mostly day hikes and birdwatching -- they should be just fine.”
