I've been wearing Lowa shoes and boots for some time, loved them all until this one. Toebox is too narrow; the entire shoe runs small. I am disappointed.

Comfortable and looks sharp. I normally wear a 10 but because of the other reviews here I went with a 10.5 and it fits great. Seems narrow, which is good for me.

Lowa knows how to spec a boot and better shoes than a typical fashion running shoe. These are more for trail walking than mall shopping, a beefier shoe. It does run small. If you have narrow foot 1/2 size up and a wider foot full size up. I had to exchange mine and normally don't have problems going with my standard size with any brand.

I usually take a 9-9.5 US size in running shoes. I ordered a 9.5 and they are a little tighter than might be optimal. I think this is mostly due to narrow width but they seem to be expanding some with wear. Still feel pretty good overall with plenty of cushion and I really like the look.
Question
“I'm looking for a trail running shoes with a pretty rigid sole. Due to arthritis in my toes, I don't want a shoe that's too flexy. How stiff is the sole on this shoe?”
