“This is a beautiful boot. Lowa makes boots out of top-notch materials and there is a sense of quality in the boot that I'm sure the boot will live up to. However, there are two things wrong with the boot. Eyelets. A boot this high should have locking eyelets. (I forsee the laces snapping sometime before the end of the 09/10 winter season.) And most of all, Breathability. This boot simply does not breathe at all. I've had numerous Gore-Tex products--as everything in NYC comes with Gore-Tex--but usually you have about a year until the Gore-Tex is a wash and your feet become odor factories. This boot refused to let my feet breathe on the first day... I kept them because the fit and the look at great. But I doubt I will enjoy the boot as much as previous Lowa products I've owned. I'm disappointed with Lowa”
